The West End Food Pantry offers various regular volunteering opportunities for both students seeking to meet their 30 hour requirements and those that wish to go above and beyond by participating in a student-led initiative.
Volunteering Opportunities
The following calendars show various opportunities to volunteer for us:
Distribution is every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, approximately 8:15AM – 1PM.
Pantry set-up occurs the Fridays before distribution, from approximately 8:30AM – 2PM.
Student-Driven Volunteer Opportunities
Would you or a group of your friends like hands-on experience in throwing a fundraiser, improving some aspect of our service, or offering a class or resource to our clients? We would love to help you do so!
Opportunities to learn about:
- community outreach
- raising funds
- graphic design
- event planning
- budgeting
- social media campaigns
There are hundreds of ways to give back. Help design our nutrition board and materials to help educate our pantry clients. Create a commercial for us to use. Partner with local businesses to host an event. Our organization will be there for you, to provide guidance where it is needed.
